In the Executive's Calendar There Is One Slot with No Name
Every Wednesday, 7 p.m., untouchable. The note is a single dot.
Her calendar is precise to fifteen minutes — except Wednesday at seven, which holds only a dot, no title. Her assistant asked once. She said: that one is mine. Nobody touches it.
The dot is this place. At the downtown studio she keeps a fixed weekly care: she arrives and sheds the day's armour — heels, suit, and the 'I'm fine' expression. When the hot towel settles over her face, she says, the realest version of her comes back.
Her preference profile is detailed: no scents that run sweet, five extra minutes of heat on the waist, confirmation before the core passage, always. Being remembered, she says, is the true luxury — at the office she holds everyone's needs in mind; here, someone holds hers.
During the worst project crunch she tried to cancel three weeks running; each time the concierge gently talked her out of it: the busier it gets, the more you come. Later she said that if not for that dot, she might have broken in the fourth week, right before the launch.
She has since recommended the dot to two peers. Between executives, she says, the realest care isn't an introduction to resources — it's an introduction to a place where you can switch off.

All you have to say is: “I need to be looked after.”
We will take care of the rest.
